do we live to learn or do we learn to live?
I wanna hold your hand.
The whole point and origin of using the word “Star” to describe someone famous for doing something is to figuratively say that the person is so outstanding that he/she illuminates and shines, much like a star.
Juniper was a Star last night.
She illuminated the dark auditorium last night with her voice.
Stars are not quantified by the amount of awards they garner (which are governed by man-made rules),
but by the intensity of light they shine into our lives.
They make us all go, “wow………” in a soft little whisper.
They leave us mesmerised. Begging for more.
Juniper was a Star in all of its definitions last night.
The only performance people will actually remember for a long time after all of it is over.
Just look at me, i’ve been listening to “i wanna hold your hand”, the Across the Universe version the whole morning and i still think that Juniper sang it better.
So…. Congratulations Juni! =)
No accolade could ever measure the brilliance of your performance last night.
To God be the Glory for the voice He has given you.
Love,
P.

Watch the whole thing on youtube. It has been dismembered into various parts. When my tutor showed this to us in GP class today i was heartbroken. mad. almost hopeless.
What should we do? what can we do?
But even as the tutor went round the class asking for comments on the documentary and pessimism began to sink it i almost rose out of my seat and i said, “No! we shan’t wallow in our pessimism! but instead we shall rise up in optimism and change the world!” - yeah sure, of course, lofty ideals, smooth words you might be thinking.
Sigh.
Honestly when faced with the harsh reality of these kind of situations my mind invariably floats back to our Creator.
Really, a sick man can’t heal himself.
We weren’t made wolverines.
We are bleeding humans in need of a doctor. And urgent.
We need Jesus.
God is the solution.
God we let you be the solution.
I let you be the solution.
Love the sound of this song. The atmospheric guitar sounds. Love the colourful tones, the layers of this song coupled with the husky-gruffled voice of the singer. Just beautiful.

Psychedelic…. it’s almost like red indians meets….. vietnam meets… pop culture.
